Saturday night, I was destined for a lovely date with my father to the Oregon Ballet Theatre’s performance of Mendelsson’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Saturday evening, I was gradually getting ready. I curled my limp hair. I put makeup on my blotchy face. I attempted to style my limp, semi-curly hair. 5 times. Bobby pins and hairspray rendered it somewhat [...] So, there’s this fitness program out there, called Couch to 5K, where, if you follow the regimen, within 9 weeks you’re running roughly 3 miles. I’m determined to get into shape, inspired not only by my girl Ester over at NotAnotherPrincess, but also by my last visit to the doctor. You have to weigh in [...] Friday evening, one of my best friends had a birthday party, and decided to have it be a themed party! Not only is that fun in itself, but it was a Film Noir party! So…Matt and I went as Joe and Polly from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. AWESOME.
